Please save the date for the Mid-America Medieval Association at the University of Missouri-Kansas City: Saturday, September 16th, 2017.

Our plenary speaker with be Dr. Cynthia Brown, Professor of French at the Univ. of California-Santa Barbara, and author most recently of The Queen’s Library: Image Making at the Court of Anne of Britanny (UPenn Press, 2010).  The tentative title of her talk is: "Paratextual Cues in Late Medieval Books: Detecting Family Female Networks.”

The Conference theme will simply be “networks,” which will allow us to create, I hope, a series of topical clusters such as: female networks, textual and codicological networks, political and religious networks, etc.

All the best in the New Year!
Kathy
